1/4/94 show up and my story

First off, the 1/4/94 show is online at archive.org. Go here http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php to see all the bands available. Allgood is one of them.

This whole thing has really taken off and has taken a life of its own.

The way this whole thing started was that my brother got a job in Macon, GA. He had a college roommate that lived in Augusta that turned him on to Allgood. He got hooked on you guys from the get-go. He saw you guys all the time and would travel around GA to the festivals. I thought it odd at the time and he was always telling me that he was going to see "the band". Then he bought me "Ride the Bee", which got me hooked as well. That was probably 1993, then I got Uncommon Goal, Kickin' and Screamin. He was on the mailing list, of course, and sent me the one that said Allgood were playing in Chicago at the Cubby Bear. So I dragged all my friends there and we were in the front row having a great time. I was the drunk guy screaming to hear "Funky House" although I believe I was screaming "Funky Town".

So Allgood breaks up and years go by. Last year, I started downloading some Grateful Dead concerts and thought that it would be great to find some Allgood and send them to my brother. I contacted a guy in England and he sent me 3 shows. I decided to share them online. Then someone claiming to be Mike Sain contacts me saying he's going to send me some stuff so that I can share those shows as well. I didn't believe him at first. It seemed odd that out of the blue some guy in a great band is going to contact me. Why me? I ask to myself. Then I received the package. So I set up all these bit torrents so that the music can be shared, for free.

A lot of people were interested and started sending me all sorts of e-mails, asking how the band is doing, what is so-and-so up to? Where are they now types of questions. A lot were saying how much the music meant to them. So, I thought that blog site would be a good venue for people to share messages/stories.

Now Corky's online giving us hope for some more music. Quite frankly, there's not much good music to choose from and this would be so awesome. I can picture a Blues Brothers type of thing going on where Mike, Corky, and Clay go to John and Charlie saying they're putting the band back together. Well, that remains to be seen, but we'll all hope for the best.

That's awesome. But the REAL questions is, what do ya think Corky would eat? The toast or an entire fried chicken???

Peace out,

Where have they been for the last ten years? Working construction? Other music projects? As far as musicians go, they're awesome. But they're ghosts as far as the internet is concerned.

And how can I get the Reverend or the Doctor or Mike to come sit in with my band (ok, or Corky, if we have to). Hey, that's why there's Travelocity, to fly band guys around the country.

They need to get back on tour. Ten years of lollygagging just ain't goan cut it.
